Data controller
Config Syncpoint is the controller for personal data collected through config-syncpoint.digital and through email to info@config-syncpoint.digital. Postal address: 26 Bootham Crescent; Ringshall; IP14 3RA; United Kingdom. Telephone: 043 4982 1143.
If a circle is later confirmed, enrolment records may be held under the same controller unless a written agreement names a different party for invoicing.
What we collect
From the contact and enquiry forms: name, email, optional topic, and the message you write. From email and telephone: whatever you choose to send. From the cookie banner: a yes or no stored in your browser under the key configSyncpoint_cookieConsent — that value does not travel to our servers by itself.
If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect approximate page paths, referring site, and a coarse location derived from IP, solely to understand which rooms are read. Rejecting those cookies does not block the site. See the cookie notice.
Why we use it
Correspondence is processed so we can reply, judge whether a room is a fit, and keep a short record of what was asked. That is our legitimate interest in running a teaching house, and — where you write asking for a seat — steps toward a contract.
Legal claims, accounting, and tax records are processed because the law requires it once an invoice exists.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for eighteen months, then deleted or reduced to an anonymous note that a topic was declined. Successful enrolment files, once a circle has run, are kept for six years to meet ordinary UK accounting expectations. Cookie preference in localStorage remains until you clear it or choose again.
Server logs, if our host keeps them, are typically rotated within ninety days. We do not build marketing profiles from journal reading.
Your rights
Under United Kingdom data protection law you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may ask for a copy of data you provided, in a common format, where processing is automated and based on contract or consent.
Write to info@config-syncpoint.digital. We may need to confirm it is you. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would rather mend a record first.
International transfers
Our email and hosting may use processors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or the United States. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or on a UK adequacy regulation if one applies to that country.
We do not sell lists of guests. We do not permit a processor to use enquiry content to train a public model.
Children
Programmes are aimed at working product people. We do not knowingly collect data from children through this site.
Changes
We will update this page when our processing changes in a way you would notice. The date above will move.
